Jodie Foster

American actress Jodie Foster is one of the most accomplished women working on the big screen during the last few decades. Mainly known for her notable role as Clarice Starling in The Silence of the Lambs, she made her movie debut as a child actor in 1970, with the TV production Menace on the Mountain.

Additionally, Foster appeared in hit films such as Inside Man, Taxi Driver, Panic Room, and Maverick. Despite being a huge star, Foster tries to keep her private life as private as possible. In 2014, she tied the knot with American director, photographer, and actress Alexandra Hedison.

Don Lemon

American television journalist Don Lemon is one of the few openly gay men in the broadcasting industry. He proudly got engaged with the real estate agent Tim Malone in 2019. Don Lemon first came out in 2011, back when he released his memoirs book Transparent.

He first got his start in the local news of Alabama and Pennsylvania. Don then landed the opportunity of working in nation-wide broadcasting when he became an NBC correspondent. Later, he found a place in the CNN network. Don is currently known for hosting CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.

Catherine Bell

Actress Catherine Bell was in a steady straight marriage with Adam Beason for 8 years before finalizing her divorce and moving in with fellow actress/producer Brooke Daniels in 2012. Both Bell and Daniels are known to be strong supporters of the Church of Scientology.

Bell, who is known for her roles in the TV series JAG and Army Wives, has made several public appearances promoting her religious beliefs. In 2006, she was featured in a Scientology-sponsored music video. There, she starred alongside other famous practicers such as the late musician Isaac Hayes and American actress Jenna Elfman.

Meredith Baxter

The now 72-year-old American actress and producer Meredith Baxter gained fame for her roles as Nacy Lawrence in Family and Elyse Donnelly Keaton in Family Ties. Even after nearly five decades, Baxter is still active in her career. She had three failed marriages, from which she gave birth to five children.

After her marriages failed, she came out as a lesbian in 2009. She has been in a romantic relationship with Nancy Locke since 2005, and the couple tied the knot in December 2013. Following the discovery of her personal orientation, Baxter’s unsuccessful marriages with men began to make sense.

Brittney Griner

2013 was a special year for the formerly-closeted LGBTQ professional American athletes. NBA professional athlete Jason Collins had just come out, and WNBA‘s center Brittney Griner decided to take the cue and do the same. Shortly after, she signed a lucrative endorsement deal with Nike.

In 2014, Brittney became engaged with fellow WNBA athlete Glory Johnson, but things didn’t go as well as expected. After only 8 months, both women were arrested on charges of assault and faced a 7 games suspension. Brittney and Glory became officially divorced in 2016. At the time, Glory was the recent mother of 2 illegitimate twin children named Ava Simone and Solei Diem.
