Jack Nicholson has been in the acting scene since 1953 and he’s been able to build a very impressive acting portfolio through the years. Some of his best performances were in movies like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,  As Good as It Gets, and Terms of Endearment. 

The last time he appeared on the big screen was back in 2010 when he acted in the movie, How Do You Know. He was supposed to make a comeback in 2018 and star in Toni Erdmann but he decided not to push through with it.

George Hamilton, 79 – $20 Million

Debonair actor George Hamilton has been in the business since the 1950s. His first ever role was in the movie Crime and Punishment U.S.A. and his performance earned him a Golden Globe award. His other known roles were in films like  Home from the Hill,  Light in the Piazza, and 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag. 

Hamilton must have been preparing for his retirement for quite a while now, aware that he is approaching his 80s. But it is nice to see that he isn’t retiring just yet. His most recent role was in an episode of General Hospital in July 2018.

Billy Dee Williams, 81 – $9 Million

True Star Wars fans would know who actor Billy Dee Williams is. Williams is the actor who portrayed Lando Calrissian on the Star Wars franchise. He made his first appearance back in 1980 in the movie The Empire Strikes Back.

His other popular acting roles were in films like Lady Sings the Blues, Batman, and Brian’s Song. Williams is not concluding his retirement planning just yet despite being in his 80s because it has been confirmed that he will be reprising his role as Lando in the upcoming  Star Wars: Episode IX  movie.

Philip Michael Thomas, 69 – $2.5 Million

Philip Michael Thomas was a very popular name in the industry back in the 1980s, thanks to his role as Ricardo Tubbs in the show, Miami Vice. Prior to his, he was already doing movies in the 1970s and some of you might recall his performances in films like Sparkle and Coonskin. 

He has been retired from the acting scene since the 2000s but he was able to get some earnings through working as a voice actor. In fact, he voiced the character named Lance Vance in the game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Marcelo/Narco in Gangstar Rio: City of Saints.

Diana Serra Cary, 100 Years Old

Diana Serra Cary was born in California in 1918. She’s famous for being one of the 3 major American child stars in Hollywood’s silent movie era. She starred in over 150 shorts for Century Studios between 1921-1923.

She got the nickname “The Million Dollar Baby” for making one and a half million dollars a year. In 1922 she got over a million fan letters. After she made all that money she was poor & worked as an extra during the ’30s. After her acting career, she became a writer & a silent film historian using her birth name. Cary wrote 7 books.
